A new community garden is planned for the Kew Garden location near the Hospital. As a general rule the group will meet on the first sunday of the month at Kew Gardens. However the February meeting will be on 21 Feb.

The BRCT (Blueskin Resilient Communities Trust) has secured some funding from the Lotteries Commission to support and develop the WEGgie network and activities. We need to identify as soon as possible specifically how the funds will be used.

At its last meeting, the BRCT identified that the priorities for these funds should be to:

1a. Strengthen and support existing WEGgie initiatives eg open orchard (WOO), edible garden tours, community garden, publications, harvest markets, school garden etc
