We have a number of sub-groups up and running, a gardening group, Waste Away, Grey Lynn Farmers Market, Community Planning, Water, Green Screen Movie Nights, Traffic Calming, Grey Lynn Business Association

We also have a steering group and are always looking for people who are local, interested and want to get involved.

Grey Lynn 2030 Week Sunday 21 March – Saturday 27 March 2010

We celebrated all the positive things going on in our community with a week long programme of events.  Regular Grey Lynn features such as the Farmers Market  were included together with exciting new activities and a local approach to marking the international World Water Day and Earth Hour. A highlight of the week was the West Lynn Street Party & Twilight Market

Support for GL2030 Steering Committee
The Steering committee is a small team of five working hard to support GL 2030 . We are always keen to volunteers to help with a range of tasks that we don't currently have the time to do but would love to see happen. For example, ensuring a community notice goes in the local paper each month, distribute posters to advertise our meetings; keep our calendar of events updated on our website. There is a long to do list and you may also have specific skills you would like to offer if you have noticed a gap.

Focus Groups
Our focus groups are always looking for people to get involved - there is heaps going on  (and plenty more to do) so please get in touch if you would like to get more active with any of our current groups  - Waste Away, Traffic Calming, Water, Gardening, Wilton Street Community Garden, Green Screen and Local Government Group (or start a new group) .  Come along to our monthly meeting for more information or email us.
