Compelling, intelligent, and highly entertaining, the film visits with the world’s top experts and comes to a startling, but logical conclusion – our industrial society, built on cheap and readily available oil, must be completely re-imagined and overhauled.

Submitted by AndrewTTK on 27 June 2008 - 10:18pmThe idea is that we would combine with Otaki to invite everyone in Kapiti from garden/horticulture/tree crop clubs and societies, KCDC members and staff, schools, Whitireia, community boards, Gray Power, U3A, - any groups likely to have an interest in growing food locally. The open space day will allow people with a particular interest or passion to emerge and take responsibility for the various activities that arise. Its a natural way of organising things. No one is obliged to come. Whoever comes is the right people.
