Nelson Bus Service Trial Starting Soon

The Motueka Community Board's Nelson bus trial will start on Monday.

The bus will leave Motueka at 7:40am and arrive at the Nelson information center at 8:50am, Monday to Friday. It will depart for Motueka at 5:50pm. There will be an additional shopper service on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The bus will also stop at Nelson Hospital, Richmond, Tasman and perhaps in Mapua. The initial adult fare will be $4. People aged 17 and under will pay $2. "Ten-ride concession tickets will be available from the Motueka i-Site Information Center. After the trial period, the service will be reassessed with the aim of continuing at $7.50 per ride.
