What is a share garden?
A share garden is a way for people to grow their own food and build community at the same time. It is one way of increasing edible gardening without setting up a Community Garden.
The name comes from share milking, a common model used in the New Zealand dairy industry. The concept is based on one person owning the land (their garden) the host with other people contributing labour and resources, such as tools and seeds the willing gardeners.
