Open Space workshop on garden groups - Kapiti

6 Jul 2008 - 1:00pm
6 Jul 2008 - 4:00pm

The idea is that we would combine with Otaki to invite everyone in Kapiti from garden/horticulture/tree crop clubs and societies, KCDC members and staff, schools, Whitireia, community boards, Gray Power, U3A, -  any groups likely to have an interest in growing food locally. The open space day will allow people with a particular interest or passion to emerge and take responsibility for the various activities that arise. Its a natural way of organising things. No one is obliged to come. Whoever comes is the right people. Our task as organisers is to frame the question to be addressed, the inquiry, and invite the right people.

Sunday 6th July 1-4pm

Looking forward to hearing more

I'd be very interested to hear how you run this, and how it goes. This is the next ervent we plan to do at the end of this month or early August, on Waiheke. An Open Space event focused on and drawing together all the food related groups, of which there are many.

Can you drop me a note after the event? That would be great.

How did it go?

It would be great to hear about this event. Please would you share a paragraph with us? For eaxample:

  • How many people came,
  • how was it received,
  • what did people take away from it,
  • and what actions were agreed upon?
