Who is interested in this topic please:- The public is being misinformed on depleted uranium munitions risks. The UN's trusted WHO is tied to the IAEA's stance on depleted uranium munitions nanoparticle residue effects on living tissue. However, the IAEA's stance is tied to ICRP methodology which an expert, Dr Rosalie Bertell, says is wrong. The ECRR has shown why. This false picture calls into question all of WHO's findings on any topic. Here is Dr Bertell's email to me. To quote her:-
"In 1959 WHO signed a Memo of Understanding with IAEA, to give IAEA the lead of radiation health questions. When IAEA was founded by the UN it chose ICRP rather than WHO as the basis for its radiation protection recommendations. Hence WHO and IAEA and also UNEP “must” all use ICRP methodology when they study any issue involving radiation. Hence they all get the same (ICRP engineered) conclusions. It is untrue and difficult to work with. Science should be based on independent research! ECRR has done a good job of showing ICRP methodology wrong especially for internal exposure to radiation.
