Quiet nook sought for gentle soul - Gisborne Te Tairawhiti, East Coast

Kia ora everyone,

I'm looking for a quiet, private, tidy sanctuary as my new home in the Gisborne or East Coast area. I'm hoping to find something under $150 per week. I'm open to consider living anywhere in the East Coast region, and anything that matches the above will be considered. House, cottage, unit, batch, sleepout, studio, granny flat, converted shed - try me!

I'm in my early 30s, a non-smoker, non-drinker, no parties (I like the quiet life), vegetarian, into natural living, respectful. I have two beautiful house-trained mature cats who will be moving with me too.
If you know of anything that might suit, please email me a.s.a.p via my email address below.
Looking forward to hearing from you :)
Blessings and best wishes
xx

Kia Ora, friend!

I too am seeking the same with two cats as well! The gifts i share are permaculture landscape design, writing content of all sorts, retreat center leadership, and collaborative co-designing of futures. I'm nearly 50 in body, yet 30s in Spirit. Perhaps we could collaborate on finding an ideal place?

Warmly,

Catrina

Kia ora!

Kia ora Catrina,

Lovely to hear from you. Are you looking for a place in the Gisborne or East Coast area?
I like the idea of collaborating, but my feeling is my cats probably won't be able to live with two other cats unfortunately ... I will contemplate it though, and see :)

Blessings,

Corinna

want to enjoy quiet countryside with stunning views onto Takitimu Ranges rentfree for a while? Ideal for cycling. Housesitter wanted over a 2 month period from mid april for a simple miner's cottage with coalrange, permaculture gardens and company of cats. Car can be made available if needed. Needs to be able to cover usage of electricity and telefon. Wireless internet accessable. Ideal for artist or spiritual seeker.

Hi Cat,
thanks for your interest. As I 've seen from your profile you're an experienced housesitter and well travelled. Do you have some references I can see online? I'm listed on www.helpx.net in Southland as "Miner's Rest" if you want to have a look at the picture there in the meanwhile. I bought the place 1,5years ago but moved in for good only recently. the herb garden is established, a vegiegarden in preparation. Nearly 100 native trees and shrubs I planted over winter survived the recent drought. I have a clear vision what I'd like to achieve here. If you pass on a personal email adress I'll send some pictures. Originally from Germany I live in NZ since 10yrs and am off to visit my family from mid April till mid June. For that time I'd wish for an honest and reliable minder for the place and my companion Toby the cat. The next dairy and fuelstation is in Nightcaps 9km away, library and supermarket in Otautau 22km, supermarket in Winton 40km, organic farm 20km. If you don't mind rural living I'm sure you can enjoy it very much. The landscape is beautiful with the impressing Takitimu Ranges in sight. I have a bicycles to enjoy quiete roads with beautiful views. Not that I could take much advantage of it so far...
That's now. Look forward hearing from you
