Otaki update

This group has been going since early 2008 and now is well developed with many subgroups. We have started a timebank, have a Sustainable Food group which sells produce in the village every week from backyard surplus and have started many other initiatives.We are now on our third website with ability to converse with each other, post files, photos etc. See http://transitiontown.otaki.org.nz/. Initiatives in energy resilience, transport, economy have been started. We have a Mulcher club and a 6ph mulcher which is hired out to club members, all of which have undergone training in its use and plan to extend this to other machinery.
