When speaking to new people, it might be easier to give them the first address rather than the second. It's easier to say and there's less chance of them mis-typing it later.

NB http://tt.org.nz/waiheke redirects you to the home page. If you want to have anything after the main domain name (/waiheke), then you still need to use the real address.
