Marton
Marton
Marton in the Rangitikei is a superbly located town for a future where cheap energy will not be able to be taken for granted. Geographically Marton is a node between Wanganui and Feilding/Palmerston North, and is at the junction between the main trunk railway line and the Taranaki - Hawkes Bay railway line. As anyone who lives here knows it is situated in a prosperous agricultural/pastoral area, with plenty of schools and affordable housing.
Marton Harvest Festival
Marton Harvest Festival 27 March, 2010, was a good occasion to pass some of our small home grown surplus to local house holders at very modest costs. Also a great opportunity to widen our contacts with kindred souls, and keep a public profile. All produce from members of the local chapter.
New Faces + Bring & Share Meal + Movie
Start: 21 Jun 2009 17:00
It has been a long time since we had a hearty get together and there are a number of new arrivals to the area who have got in touch with me over the past few months.
The first meeting we had was held in June 2008, so we have been going for a year now. A CELEBRATION is probably in order.
