We are in the beginning stages of setting up a working group to get Transition Town Torbay started.

We have held several meetings including a film evening (see below for news of another one), and are beginning to get projects mobilised in a few specific areas. We need your help to make this a success! If you are interested in participating please contact one of the working group members below.

Come along and find out more at our next monthly meeting on Thursday 4th December 7.30pm at the East Coast Bays Community Centre, 2 Glen Road, Browns Bay in the Waiake room.

At subsequent meetings we will be holding workshops relevant to the Transition Town initiative as well as responding to the North shore City Council’s City Blueprint Plan 2009-2024.
